There are way too many similes. I am enjoying the book but it’s like the author is trying to find some poetic way to explain everything which is just making the reading exhausting. Just make the characters more normal and human. Not everything has to be so deep.

I don’t think I like Hunter very much. He didn’t even give her his helmet on the motorcycle. Like that’s just common courtesy. 🤷‍♀️
