Status Updates From Solace House

downside to reading a book like this is that i won't be able to ask the internet to explain its nuances to me ):

i absolutely LOVE a compelling mysterious litfic story like i don't know what's going to happen or where it's leading but i am seated.

This looks like a bit of an epic tome ..here goes…

if this guy describes a man as beautiful one more time i'm going to get my hopes up thinking this book is queer

one time when i was in hs, i did a summer camp at berklee for a week. on the very last night i was staying in the dorms, my roommate had already left, and i worked myself into an anxiety attack because i was convinced that i wasn't supposed to be there and i was all alone and it felt like there was nobody else in the building.

that is how the opening of this book feels.

taking this one very slowly since it isn't out for a while but it's exactly my brand of novel so i'm hoping for something totally unhinged
