Status Updates From A Beautifully Crafted Lie

Woah

I may not read the rest of this until book 2 comes out. I have a feeling this will be a 5 star read and I'm scared of the pain it's going to cause me. I can just tell.

I feel like this would be so much better if she could never say "fuck you" "go to hell" "I hate you" etc. It just feels juvenile af.

All her "fuck you"s and "I hate you"s are getting really annoying. Please just listen to the super sketchy voice in your head and stfu. I need to learn to let characters make their own shitty choices instead of wishing they'd be smart about things.

This has been SO good! If you're looking for a haunting story of fae with a mysterious and dark atmosphere, this is it. I have no idea wtf is going on and I really enjoy it. I can't wait to see where this goes.

I was curious about this book thanks to the synopsis so I figured I’d give it a little peek. It’s actually really good so far. It’s getting pretty dark and I love tortured main characters. Pleased.

I feel like I'm blowing through this, but still unsure of what I think.
