I just finished the first of the two novels comprising The Rim of Morning. To Walk the Night felt deceptively simple, to the point I wasn't sure why I was so taken with it, why it compelled my interest. But I couldn't stop reading, couldn't put it down. It was a calm and sane narration of an insane bit of cosmic horror. It was very good. On to The Edge of Running Water.
