Why are so many of the women in mafia stories so blithely stupid? Do their authors hate them or do they just have no clue how to write a good transition/conflict? Cause honestly, each time they do soemthing stupid to move the story forward, I can think of sev diff ways they could have created the damn conflict w/out have the character comes off as extremely dumb & non credible

Okay, shes just plain stupid - who the hell goes strolling for trouble because they're bored - ugh, how annoying. Better ways to create conflict then pissing off the reader of fmc blatant stupidity

This book is about to end up in my DNF pile . The FMC is beyond annoying and I don’t have the mental bandwidth to hope if gets better .

Another overweight “ curvy “ girl whose insecurity and weight is her whole personality. Get on Ozempic or cut your calories but I’m not reading a book about thighs rubbing together and I can’t believe a man likes me .
