I am enjoying this a lot! The prose is very much up my street, and I like the characters involved - I’m hoping something in the plot will pick up soon, and some character deepening. A really strong start.

I’ve missed books that trust the reader to know what’s going on as soon as page 1 or make assumptions/inferences - I have a good feeling about this one! Hoping for my first 5 star in a long time 😭
