so book two seems to be a mess of constant on the run, torture and shit

max escapes to barbados at some point ig but then comes back bc he’s obsessed with the fmc(still don’t understand, bc she’s fucking shit)
and then he takes the mmcs place again
and commits suicide?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

and many reviewers keep mentioning how they all could’ve went back to the future and safety
but didnt

i feel calmer now
and leaning more towards stopping here
not continuing with this series

as much as id love to read about a real hea(even though i care nothing for the mcs) and for these other idiots to be knocked down
