Status Updates From Palaces of the Crow

Pretty sure I’m halfway done with the book. Not much happened in this chunk but I’m excited to keep reading.

Reading before bed makes me so tired I love it. This was a calm and wholesome chunk of the book compared the first 1/3 of the book. I have a feeling this book will attach me to the characters and then rip my heart out but let’s hope not. Fav character so far is chesław because he handles business and is the only reason literally anyone is alive.

I can’t believe Kezia left the mute boy as bait infront of Neriya and Chezlaw’s place. It’s fitting of her backstory and character but still concerning

Just a quick chapter. Also I saw that the next chapter skips forward about 30 years. Honestly don’t know how I feel about that, but I haven’t read it so we shall see.

Pre bed read sesh

Solid lil 30 min reading sesh before class. I’m glad to see the timeline all coming together but I’m not a fan of the jumping back and forth in time so much

It’s still peak so far. Kazias story was brutal. I really hope we get to learn why these specific crows are so smart.

I love how the different perspectives make it like multiple stories in one, because it helps me stay engaged. And the fact that you can feel the two perspectives about to collide is exciting. I mess with buster

Solid, I really like the mood of the book and I’m looking forward to seeing if what I’m anticipating is what will actually happen.
