Status Updates From Return To Earth

If you liked The Martian you will love this book. I will be up till I finish it.

I've had a lot of trouble getting through this book. It feels like it was written by an over eager, suburban middle schooler. The over explanations are made worse by they way they display the author's ignorance of the material, and the omniscient narrator simply won't stop trying to prove how omniscient he is. Could use about 1/3 less words. A good editor could rescue this with some red ink. I may not finish this.
