My prediction for the rest of the Golden Age Arc:
Since Casca and Guts just had sex, things have to go downhill. Obviously, she has to die. I think Griffith kills her (it's the only way to hurt Guts, and I also think he loves Guts both semi-romantically, platonically, and as an equal). Something happens where Griffith almost dies, and because he holds Guts so dear, he marks him for sacrifice to fulfill his dream.
