Status Updates From Young Man with Camera

Watson bites Shawn and is taken off guard, we see how the boys wish things and people would go back to normal which I think could represent the feeling of the world turning on them. Sean asks the main character to show Ms. Karamath what had happened. I predict they will have to work together for the boys to be arrested because most people won't believe them by themselves.

Ryan and his crew continues to make blank threats at the main character and Sean and continues to be suspected and undermined by Bianco and his parents. I cannot help but to feel bad for him with how hard his life must be already with his scars then his bullying and the death of Lucy. I wonder how the future might look and if Ryan's secret will get out.

Ryan is talking to the main character regularly hinting tiny threats if his secret will get out. I wonder how the main character will deal with this because it is not something he is going to to let go of. I noticed how he believes that the police and his parents will not believe him and how hard that must be.

The main character seems to be warming up to life and he was hanging out with Lucy alot and was laughing. This chapter broke me to hear that the boys killed Lucy. I thought to myself while reading what will the town think after Ryan and his crew humiliated Lucy and ended up killing her and what Ryan will do to the main character to stop it from getting out, and more importantly how the main character will handle it.

The main character runs into Lucy and it seems she is punishing and harming herself and yells at him. I predict she has an addiction and he will have to help. Later Ryan and his crew show up while he is with Lucy and she stands up to them. This is significant because she could make them stop bullying him.

We still see that the main character seems to be embarrassed just to be who he is. I noticed how only he doesn't seem to be embarrassed by other people though I think he can see the beauty in anything but himself. I feel a little sympathy for him because no one seems to believe him no matter what they seem to just go with the athletic and charming one without seeing his side of the story.

We hear from the main characters experience of social workers coming to his house about his burns and then never talks or tells the truth because no one believes him. He meets a homeless lady who doesn't seem to be ashamed of anything and takes his picture and doesn't care about other peoples comments. I predict Lucy the homeless lady will help the main character if he gets bullied.

I feel a lot of empathy for him and how his mom is still blaming things in the state of denial and we see he has pictures of other peoples burns to make him feel better. I wonder how this will take on his mental health and if the bullying keeps escalating what will he do?

We see from the main characters perspective as he cares and sees the beauty and complexity around him. I noticed the pictures might symbolize some emotional and physical trauma that he might hold with him. I also saw he mentions nobody sees what is special about him seeing how he handles things it seems he believes nobody cares. And since he's being bullied I wonder how he will handle that weight and mental load.

i was stressed while reading the book today

TQ: While we were reading i was curious why T does not tell a police officer or a trusted adult? Since that way Ryan will not be able to harm anyone anymore

i thought it was a very extreamly amazingingly good chapter I liked when T went to check on his friend sean

Jared is putting up a front because he doesn't know if telling what really happened to Lucy is what he should do. I feel like he will eventully because he knows that it is the right thing to do.

i was thinking about how cute the people were

I think everyone in this book has a role in some way shape or form. I dont think were going to see how they all tie into the story until later into the book. I think im going to gradually start putting the pieces together until the puzzles solved. I dont think its gonna happen all at one time especially with the way this author writes.

I really am sad that lucy died she was my favorite character and i really want T to come forward i feel like that would be the only way for lucy to get justice and so that ryan doesnt get away with what he did
