Chuchu wrote something pretty comical in Saionji and Anthy's exchange diary. The only reason why what he wrote didn't make me smile is because I feel wiped out tbh.

I enjoyed this volume overall and I welcomed some of the differences between the manga and the anime. I'm rating it four stars.

Utena and Anthy's hug after they returned back to their bodies was sweet and it made me happy. 😊❤️

Saionji was pond scum for stepping on Chuchu, but Saionji is always pond scum, so his detestable and violent behavior came as no surprise.

I loved how Utena fought back and slapped one of the mean girls when she was in Anthy's body. That way the godawful girls hopefully learned to leave Anthy alone.

It was fun reading Chuchu's narration and inner monologue. He seems like a pretty active character in the manga so far. 🙂

It was fantastic how Chuchu referred to Utena as a "strong prince" in his narration when he mentioned that Utena saved Anthy from "hateful Saionji". Hateful Saionji indeed. 😤

Zima is 110% correct about how Saionji's fangirls who slapped "Anthy" (with Utena in her body at the time) were petty and immature. 😶😑

It was so sweet that Anthy was touched when Utena said, 'I'm asking you as a friend' wrt wanting answers about how Miki ended up in the dueling arena. 😍 ❤️

I'm relieved that Anthy didn't lead or convince Kozue into going to the place where the duels occur for the purpose of Miki facing off with Utena. 😅 Phew!

Chuchu looks both cute and funny in the clothes that Anthy made for him.

This particular volume should called Everybody Loves Utena, just like the 1990s sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, since Touga and Miki have a crush on her, but she doesn't seem explicitly interested in either of them. Lol! 😂

I'm hoping for a slow-burn dynamic between Utena and Anthy. That's another reason why I want Miki and Touga to back off and leave her the eff alone. 😶

I'm not sure what to make of Miki's sister, Kozue, having an I-Have-the-Hots-for-my-Twin-Brother complex, since Nanami felt that way about Touga in the anime. I'm mildly shocked by the change but mostly indifferent tbh. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Miki seems to a more likable character in the manga than he is in the anime. He's very kind to Utena. :)

It's interesting that Touga has a chart that lists all of the duels in his closet, which Utena and Miki hid in shortly before he (meaning Touga) caught their not-so-slick asses. 😜

I couldn't help but laugh when Utena suggested to Miki that they hide in the closet since she's clearly bisexual. Me and my silly LGBTQ+ puns that probably aren't funny. 😆🤣

Utena and Miki's spying/snooping mission went south and they're about to be discovered by Touga.

I love how Wakaba refers to Utena as her 'girlfriend' and I headcanon that she's bisexual. 😊

I don't know what to make of Miki telling Utena that he wants to spy on Touga, but I like that they're friends. I wonder how long their friendship will last. 🤔

I love how Utena is determined to be a prince even though Touga referred to her as a princess.😍❤ And she told him, once again, 'Don't mess with me," (😁) when he was too forward with her and she clearly disliked his behavior. Go Utena!! 🎉🎉
