At some point I realized this stopped being a romance novel and actually was more of a love story...

Migraine day. 🤕 Not as much progress as I had hoped, but I’m really enjoying this so far 🫶

Wow, I didn't think Politano could write a book that disappointed me. Right out of the gate, I'm not liking this one. I thought first-person present-tense was bad. Third-person present-tense narration is even more irritating. Now I know why she moved away from Bethany House, I doubt they would have published a book written like this. I'm going to give it a little longer to see if I can settle into the rhythm

I was really looking forward to this book, but I’m going to have to DNF because of some bad memories it triggered.

I've been asked about the spice level in this marriage of convenience story--there's NONE. Not even a fade to black. Because this is a love story <3
