I forget how slow world building is in fantasy books but this isn’t bad so far!

So im loving the book so far. Things are moving quickly just how i like it and a lot going on but not so much so to confuse me. I think Kidan and Susenyos relationship are about to change. Theres just something abt him lol

How is it possible that they kept June updated on everything except Mama Anoet? Does June think that Mama Anoet told Kidan about Susenyos with no push back? Or is June actually meaner than Kidan remembers and she’s manipulating Kidan by pretending she doesn’t know in her message?

It’s been awhile. And I’m out of my slump. Getting some house work done while listening to Immortal Dark. Already just from the illustrations and tone I feel inspired to continue writing my own story and connected to her world. I heard great things about this so I’m excited 😆

Why is Susenyos’ backstory so interesting. Definitely is my favorite character. I love vampires who love being vampires
