I must be slumping... i'm really struggling getting through this book 🥱🥱

The plot is intriguing.... but I'm struggling a wee little with the writing style.

Unsure how to feel about this. The found family is cute, but I’m finding the relationship entirely unconvincing. And Beth is seriously getting on my nerves… why can’t this girl just SAY WHAT SHES THINKING!!!! It’s like the miscommunication trope in microdoses. Even if it gets resolved a few pages later, if she just said the thing it wouldn’t be an issue!! Also the male narrator makes her sound so petulant
