Status Updates From The Secret of Chimneys: A C...

My first Christie was And Then There Were None. My fave Christie is Curtain: Poirot’s Last Case. The Christie I was reading when my 7th Grade teacher spotted me with it and changed my life by recommending Wodehouse novels to me was After the Funeral. I read somewhere that Chimneys was a bit like a Wodehouse book, and I would say that’s true. Quick Service with murder added. I like it a lot.

Apparently, this is Christie at her most Wodehouse. I’m up for that…although, once I finish this, I will switch to darker, more sinister Crime & Mystery novels for the run to Halloween.
