Now that I'm getting used to the author's writing style, and things are starting to come together I'm enjoying this much more.

The only solace I have is that Matilda can come and go as she pleases from the wasteland to wherever she wishes. UGH MY HEART. The typewriters are her magic. The magic of a herald. Beautiful full circle moment. I hope Ross writes of Enva and Dacre. I need to know more of them. Theyre enigmatic which serves them well enough, I suppose. But im greedy. Ugh.

This is so unique compared to what I usually read! and the chemistry between the two characters is so beautiful to read. I am loving this so far
