Status Updates From Baldur's Gate 3: Astarion

i do feel as if i am obligated to read this

Still waiting for this to get as bad as people are saying and still very much enjoying it. I'm telling you now, if this was released on AO3 and not published it would have gone down a storm.

I noticed some people were complaining because this book has no chapters. It does have a lot of break points that you could pause, but I am also a little flummoxed by this. We are all used to chapters being numbered or named, but this book does not have that. Regardless, I am enjoying the feel of the narration and components that you might find in the game itself. It’s very fun but still Astarion-esque

This may be a DNF for me, despite loving Astarion in the game. Or I need to read the physical book, not the audiobook. Neil's narration surprisingly leaves a lot to be desired, especially for female characters. He sounds like he is speaking with a mouthful of marbles.
