Status Updates From The Curse of the Brimstone ...

I have been so unable to read anything lately and so this has been a nice change of pace! I know, a historical fantasy mystery novel, how ground breaking.

But it's really charming so far, and I believe it is part of a series so I'll have something else to read next. Looking forward to it!

Interesting start, but I hate when the heroine meets the hero and becomes snappy as a substitute for flirting or charming.

What is the point of having the female lead behave out of character as soon as she meets the hero?

I want to see them fall in love with all aspects, not the witty/snippy whatever is going on.

Okay this is spiraling out of control. I hate it when a good book just becomes annoying towards the ending especially because it’s trying so hard for shock value. Now why did her mum need to be involved in all this?

This is a stupid idea. I hate when the main characters risk their lives wanting to be heroes

Man, this book is giving me anxiety. She's about to be traded off to a husband in a single day to keep the business from failing. Simultaneously, the interactions of the love interest seem a little silly. It isn't a bad book, I guess I don't quite know what to make of it yet.

Ok this is a really good story but I am so tired of this Strong Independent Women Who Hate Corsets thing. Seamstresses also wore corsets FFS, people wore them to work out and to help with back pain. Bras are way more stifling & less ergonomic

Interesting so far. I just loved the cover.
