I was right about Nick lying 👀
I think every room in this “house” is a place where a murder/suicide took place maybe that’s the staircases way of driving the people it takes insane
It probably thrives on negative emotions and tries to invoke as much of it as possible in the people trapped

The part where Lore tried offering Matty drugs and then got angry that he refused just made me dislike her even more💀
I’m wondering if maybe the staircase is keeping Matty alive like the creepypastas I’ve heard but with those most of the people were only gone for a few days 🤷🏻‍♀️
