Everything went well at the fashion show. Shelby and Spencer are finally together, and are going on a date. Shelby thinks everything is all good in life.

Sydnee and Shelby had their fashion show and everything went well. Sydnee and Shelby's dad are starting a thing for women there who were getting abused.

A whole drama filled situation happens between Shelby, a football player named Fritz, his girlfriend Lyrica, and Spencer. A fight happens between Spencer and Fritz over Shelby.

The people who are running for mayor and their families went to this speaking thing. Many other people are there to watch and listen. Shelby doesn't really like the answers her dad was giving. It was upsetting her. She kept giving mean looks and wondering why he was not doing better.

Shelby and Sydnee start to argue because of Sydnee's boyfriend. He keeps hitting on Sydnee and Shelby does not want him in there while she is. He left but came back with a gun and Sydnee almost let him in. Shelby refused to let him come in. Sydee said she didn't have to help her, and Shelby says well her dad didn't have to help her! So Sydnee went to the door begging her boyfriend Brian to go away.

Shelby starts working with Sydnee the fashion mentor. She got herself into another mess. She sees Sydees boyfriend hitting her.

Now Shelby and Jazzy Jay have become really great friends. Spencer and Shelby are starting to show more of their true emotions toward each other to each other. Shelby wants to be a fashion designer. Spencer tells her why wait. Jazzy Jay has a cousin who can help Shelby get started on that already. He took her to meet his cousin and they made a deal.

Shelby meets a new friend at school. A boy named Jazzy Jay. They figure out they have class together. As soon as they walked in there was Spencer telling Shelby to come sit beside him. Her teacher was happy to see she was the soon to be Mayor's daughter. He started asking a favor of her to give her dad information about him because he really wanted to work for the government.

Shelby gets into a situation with some football team boys. A mysterious boy jumped in between and stopped all the trouble. When she looked up it was Spencer. The boy she had really liked but acted as if she did not. He and her sat down afterwards and she told him how she asked his mom about him she had been worried since what happened at the debate. They had a small conversation and then he said he had to go

Shelby and her sisters are use to going to private school. This school year her dad has decided to put them in public school so they can get into the "real world". Everyone at the school pretty much has a fresh start because they just built the new school. One of Shelby's sisters had been talking to this boy online, and found out he goes to their school as well.

The main character Shelby introduces the situation her family is in. Her family is very wealthy, and her dad is running for Mayor. She introduces her family to the reader, and sets the scene.
