The story had promise. But it's the details. Saying the same thing twice four paragraphs apart, repeatedly. It's using the same phrase or description throughout the book multiple times. It's about saying that the FML, who has been there for months is now being said to have lived there for years. It's the statement "to a man neither of them has spoken to in years". Or listing the other man with the FMLs last name.

If I read one more time about the sunlight on the wedding dresses in the studio I am going to lose my shyte!!! This book would be half the length but for all the non-dialogue//no-action drivel!! Ugh

This book is excruciatingly painful to read. The overabundance & repetitive narrative of the rooms, views, sounds, everything, ugh please just tell the story. You don't need to tell me that the design of the room allowed the sunlight to fall across the wedding dresses every time she enters. Don't even get me started on how calculating, sneaky & somewhat sinister Spencer's tracking of his brothers movements feels.
