Status Updates From I, Medusa

I have a problem with the character representation. The story starts out where she puts herself at mercy of a God so that she can save her friend from potentially dire repercussions. Later she’s confronted with a semi similar situation and has no ability to self reflect and see herself as partially at fault or owning up to it. I think there’s a serious character misrepresentation.
