suddenly there are wayyyy too many POVs and there's more worldbuilding than character building. I really don't need to know what everyone's opinion is on xyz feature of the world, it gets really repetitive and the plot is dragging. I want to go back to our first few main POVs, Damietta and Iskander and Lebanon, and explore their family more, rather than learn about other almost random people
