Status Updates From The Lost Daughter of Sparta

Got to love it when someone portrays Medusa as a human woman, when she wasn’t one at all in the original Greek mythology. In Hesiod’s Theogony, Medusa was born a Gorgon, the daughter of Phorcys and Ceto, alongside her sisters Stheno and Euryale.

The version where Medusa was originally a beautiful human woman who was transformed into a Gorgon by Athena isn’t the Greek version. That story comes from Ovid, a Roman poet

I just want to point out that the whole thing Sparta and jow they treat the disabilities is kind of blown out of the water. Especially not how they treat this FMC. People who have a disability wouldn't automatically outcast like it has in this graphic novel. And having the Mc double curse is laughing bad. XD

I didn't know till I was nearly done with this book that it is a graphic novel. I listened to an audio book version and still enjoyed it. Upon looking at the book I was not a fan of the art style.
