This has a lot of aspects in long novels I enjoy and combined that with the strength of prose alone, it could be one of my favorite novels of all time. I'm really certain that the venn diagram between Bolaño readers and Lynch fans is a perfect circle. He didn't need to do that namedrop for an internet cafe there but I guess he needed to be sure. Anyway, he seems to have predicted, among other things, the rise of Netflix, and the actual plot of Twin Peaks season 3
