I love the characters of Persephone and Hades, I like the plot and their chemistry too. BUT the writing style is a true struggle for me. It’s not bad writing, it’s just somewhat incomprehensible.

This is the second book in the pile of “you’ve had these for years, finish them now” stack I’m trying to power through before January. However, this little gem really just needs to be thrown out for sheer horridness.

As Scotty might say: I canna do it, capt'n! I canna change the laws of physics! This book has killed my will to survive. I need some bagel chips, a shower, a mean-spirited review, & another novel to cleanse my wounds. In other words, I'm finished.
