Status Updates From New Avengers by Jonathan Hi...

Hickman loved parallels and does he deliver some great ones here. As universes are destroyed by one of three threats, the Avengers of Earth-616 peek into these universes to see how they - if at all - deal with these issues. Interesting is the ‘A Perfect World’-saga: Hickman created DC-parallels (a Batman, a Superman, etc.) who, get this; succeed. They are not played for a joke, but broaden the universe. Great!
