Status Updates From Una defensa del masoquismo

I haven’t read many books on gender studies and sexuality. Her writing style feels like a friendly introduction for me. Philip’s references movies like “A Touch of Evil” and “Sliver,” interesting to mix film studies with gender studies. Sometimes the writing is clunky and I’m not sure what she’s getting at but overall some interesting points are raised every now and again.

Masochism allows for refreshment or renewal
