when things get rough just start another book

This is so messed up

I like this book, but it’s reminding me of why I hate time travel stories. The rules rarely make sense. I am confused.

Oh no this might crush me

"Nine years we stole... Nine cowardly years; Nine perfect years. I know you want to write the whole of it, every detail, so that we'll never forget again, but Owen, have mercy: Don't make me remember too well. Don't make me lose them again."
Stab me in the chest next time

They should just go to the future, grab some condoms and go back to the past
