Okay, emergency C-section at 36 weeks and the baby is in a crib in the NICU. I can forgive that. But FFS ... "... sometimes I can fully sympathize with the feminist movement" from Seth? Men can't be feminists? Men only sympathize when other men are being idiots? SERIOUSLY?!
And I was so pleased with Vivian when she went off completely on Seth earlier in the book, saying everything I was thinking when HE was idiotic.

The hero hates tequila. Well, yeah. They're drinking shots of the raw, barely distilled clear stuff. if you get some aged reposado tequila with some color to it from the aging, you can sip it like whiskey-- and I like it better, personally. Not that I have had more than a sip or two of either...

God, I love Vivian and Seth. They have grown so much, and we both get to know them as their mature selves as they get to know each other better after that limo-monkey-sex.
I don't think I'm used to such a heavy atmosphere in a Mayberry, but of course the fabulous writer handles it with aplomb.
