Especially in the setting of this chapter, I just thought this standalone line underscores a lot about language in how it communicates the sacred and also the role it plays in community building.

“Because you can perform miracles with your imagination when you’re not “normal.”

There's so many characters that I can't keep track of them!!

You always have to pay attention to the author's writing (a good thing) but as good as this book was some characters were to me unnecessary and in some cases boring (looking at you Akin & May) and detracted from the overall pleasure of reading the book.
