Status Updates From Public Access Afterworld

I've come to hate flashbacks. They never really feel justified enough to grind the plot to a halt

For anyone who has also seen this author's filmography (famously, I Saw The TV Glow), they have a very specific story they must tell over and over. They are coming out with another movie that acts as a final piece in the TV movie trilogy, so they will be telling the same story four times in different fonts. Maybe go to a therapist so we can process through this and tell other stories. This is still good though.

*rubs hands like a fly* now this is some mystery/thriller/magical realism slow plot shit I didn't know I was needing. It's like reading I Saw The TV Glow, but since the medium lacks the striking visual imagery, it reads much more like on the those well written no sleep stories from reddit. we focus a bit more on teenage angst than I would like but thats a me thing

I've been dragging my feet finishing this because I know it's going to wreck me in the same way I Saw the TV Glow did (in a beautiful, radicalizing way) and here I am crying in my car over a sentence.
