Status Updates From Ashes of Austen: A Shadows ...

Swooning over here! “I love you. You and your bewitching eyes have vanished all the foolish vanity and arrogance out of my very soul. All that remains is a selfish batard who knows there would be no beauty, no life, no hope without you…”

“You are a foolish man, and I will never forgive you for finally making such a grand declaration while Rome burns around us.”

Nothing like a near death of your lover to make you stop being an @ss and realize your true feelings. SMH.

Total capturer and captured vibes. Obsession and possession… mysterious dark manor with gothic vibes and a murder curse… I’m enthralled!

I love all the Jane Austen references and the Regent society mixed with modernism but even better… the similarities to Hades and Persephone! So delicious!
