Fmc reminds me of Nautolans from Star Wars universe, both in appearance and physiology. Except her eyes seem more human-like. The book is also better written and has more worldbuilding than your garden variety self-pubbed sci-fi romance, which bodes well for my attention. Mmc, Davik, is the kind of guy who hides awkwardness and insecurity under "mouth never closes" syndrome, he's super chatty and adorable.

In chapter 5. Yup. This one is a vibe. The good writing continues. And there’s humor. I’m enjoying the MMC’s character build. It’s different from the stereotypical dark and broody ones in most romance novels. I’m digging it.

Just finished chapter 1. There’s already a lot of good stuff going on here: colorful and ranged word palette, showing rather than telling us how characters are feeling, alien species/culture building, definitely sating my sci-Fi kick with the space and interplanetary travel/ship atmosphere, alien language, author prose is enjoyable/flows well.

This has great yearning even though it’s pretty insta-love-y but I don’t even care. This is like Firefly and I’m so sat for it
