There’s a point when it passes the build up of yearning and is just unnecessary. Where is the plot?? Buried under all the yearning Duh!!

Ah I see. We spent maybe 5 pages for the entire journey of the first ingredient in the haunted area. And then 7 pages of them just sitting in the inn bedroom. I think 15 at the inn overall. I understand focusing the character relationship. But even that feels kind of unfocused. I think I could tell you this authors favorite romantasy books, but she’s just trying to cram them all in without and emotional buildup :(

I’m very surprised how quickly she’s done a 180 on her feelings for him. I’m curious, with so much potential plot moving so quickly, where does this book intend to spend its time?
