Status Updates From Twelve Years a Slave

I made it this far and still can’t get into it. Maybe it’s the narration—Louis Gossett Jr’s voice is not the easiest tone to understand in this audiobook. I’m sure the movie is excellent. And I should have read the physical book—maybe that’s better. I appreciate the story that is trying to be told but can’t listen to this another minute.
