I couldn’t take the anxiety anymore and I spoiled the ending for myself. Now I’m just sad. I hope it works out in the next book…:((

Ok prediction. On Instagram, Ava Reid compared Agnes to Juliet and Kassandra and Liuprand to Romeo and Agamemnon, and Marozia to Clytemnestra. So this is going to end with Marozia (and maybe a lover of hers) killing Agnes and Liuprand. Probably out of jealousy. She just lost her title and she is probably going to loose her husband too.

i love watching people be horrified by horror and gothic stuff. like what were you expecting? a tall dark mansion?
