Status Updates From Córki mgły

nearing the end of the book
it’s getting crazier
i could‘ve guessed it, so does it count when i say i am surprised and then i‘m not at the same time?

didn’t rlly get the point of making merrick a strong fmc and a damsel in distress as well until i read the dedication tbh
(as a major jane austen fan i get it)

wish the arc w killian gets wrapped up clearer
other than that this is fun!!
🤍

SPOILER!

honestly why we acting like this is news to us?

he was clearly a momma’s boy from the first moment and reading THAT letter is painfully agreeing to it. he was weird from the start.
above all it‘d be nice for once if essie said the full truth. wdym he looked enamoured but threatened you before huh 😭
red flaggg

and then he’s most likely the villain wtf man

nvm she just agreed to marry some guy who is so obviously hiding that he just wants to use her and she goes „okay why not, can’t get any worse atp“ (relatable!!)

nvm that now, she obv doesn’t want to marry him either but for the sake of it, bc it had been her purpose and she’s pining for smth farther ahead
smart one
plus she knew right away she likes the other guy but there’s no future for them ugh

oh merrick is so fun and so refreshing!
feared it‘d be too focused on the romance but nope
instead mystery takes most part of it and strange incidents occuring, weird character behaviours
oh how observant she is and the things she notices at times
love love love

Na ten moment nie jestem zadowolona jak ta książka się rozwija. Główna bohaterka jest tak pusta i zależna od innych że jest to po prostu smutne.
