the hardest 20% left of a book i have yet to overcome. i have to. i actually *like* the two other books I'm still working through, I've just paused because adhd and cortisol seeking which looks a little different between different types of fiction novels. but this one has been tough.

Such a good book. I’m dreading its end. I’ve got a horrible feeling it’s the first book in a series. I hope the next one is already written.

Oh dear, I’m up 7%, chapter 2 and I’ve already cried with this book. Description of living with a chronic condition and pain is accurate, for me, and moving. I feel seen, not something that happens often.

I am so easy to please, give me prlogue with some book lore and i am hooked I just love whenever the first impression about world-building happens by myth/tale <3
