Writing is excellent.
Characters are fantastic.
Plot is interesting.

Michael is just the type of MMCs I live for. He doesn’t use a lot of words but shows his intentions with his actions. 🙌🏼

This is probably one of the darkest books I’ve ever read. Holly’s backstory has me sobbing at the injustices she’s survived.
How does Lauren Gilley make her characters so haunted and real?!

Women were no physical match for the evil men of the world who wanted to do them harm; they had to level the playing field. God made man, and Samuel Colt made him equal.

This series is everything I hoped it to be so far!
