THIS IS IT.
This is the redemption arc for me after Hover.
I can honestly say that this book was done right
Although at the first few chapters did feel repetitive, with some scenes playing out maybe three times (and they weren't flashbacks), there has been great improvements made (in my opinion). I see now that Hover was supposed to be the more slow paced book in contrast to Collide.

It's taken 5 chapters, but I'm now enjoying Collide more than Hover.
