Status Updates From The CEO and the Mountain Ma...

I'm trying to figure out if I'd be enjoying this more if I hadn't already read Jackie North's book. This author, Kelly Fox, doesn't always work for me, and I don't love the random insta-attraction from Beau here tbh. But I digress from my main complaint, which is Jake. He's the MC in JN's book and I ADORE him there, but HERE he's... not the same man. Nor is the ranch the same. Major shared-world series fail IMHO :(

LMFAO!! What a way for an author to make a reader feel old. Describing an "old" woman as being " old enough to see Star Wars in the theater". LMAO.... I know I'm old and it doesn't bother me but damn that just might bother some readers, who like me remembers seeing Star Wars in the theater. LOL
