Status Updates From The Silent Women

All the way through I've been eager to read any included notes at the end (and was tempted to read them before I finished the book) and yet now I've finished the book proper but I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to read the rest and I might not have time to write a review until at least Tuesday. Impactful story and I want to reflect about my feelings & thoughts.

How had I never before heard of the Ghost Army?

The end of a war is not the end of a war.

I've read a lot about this but somehow up until now I'd missed how Oak Ridge, Tennessee played such a huge role in it.

The history is fascinating. Often with historical fiction stories the fictional characters bother me and I’d prefer a straight history book but at least so far with this book I’m enjoying the characters a lot.

I couldn't wait for what I assume will be an author's note at the end. I had to look up Oak Ridge. I like Song and I'm enjoying this book.

Today is publication day for this book!

Sadly, I’ve had little time to read this past week but I’m hopeful that that I’ll have a lot more time for reading in the coming week.
