One of the worst books I started. Last 100 was really skimming. Not fun. Between Saramago's horrible writing style and a banal descriptions of non-sense ( like a polygraph) what I have read ao far is really not immersive nor interesting. I will keep reading but compared to Intermitencias de la Muerte and Ensayo sobre la ceguera, this feels like a draft and just like a brain storm. Probably 400 pages are an excess. Bu
