Honestly struggling to stay engaged with this book. I normally love little details but these are a bit too superfluous for my liking. I will keep going to experience this national treasure

Still feeling a bit slow. The chapters are very episodic and slice of life. I do see the satirical commentary about the Church’s societal impacts and how ridiculous some norms were

I don’t think I like this book so far. Kinda slow.

The chapters on Sisa are heartwrenching. I almost could not read through them.
