The FMC was so naive when this book started off which fair, she lived on an island set apart from the whole world but you can see her growth and maturity as the book progressed.
There were a few unlikeable characters but isn't that just life in general.

Overall a book I would recommend.

I’m so into the whodunnit, possible love triangle if you squint, sisterhood, journey of self-discovery, all with a slight ominous undertone and a dose of mystery…possibly divine catastrophe! There are SOO many layers.
