I am hoping this is where the story picks up..

I love when other characters point out that the MC did something that lands them in the TSTL category. Hopefully she learns from it. But this is YA, so my hopes are not high.

Okay, when I first started this, I thought Sage was going to be an annoying little Mary Sue. I am now pleased to report that she is, in fact, a lippy little shit and I'm beginning to like her already. (I just hope I haven't jinxed myself.)

I was promised time travel. No one mentioned vampires. :( My fears for liking this book have just intensified.

Such a sloooooooow beginning. I mean, a lot happens, but none of it makes me want to keep reading. Not a great start if I have to keep telling myself "Just power through it."
