“I’ve thought of nothing but you since then, honestly. And when I saw you the other day, I damn near choked, my breath literally stolen from one look at you in that meeting.” Nope. I’m done. He did not just say that. [...] he probably says this to everyone, plus you saw him with Harper, get our bull shit radar in check and move on... My brain is right, I know it. I just need to get my body in check.

I’m taking a break from fantasy and picked up this ARC because I was intrigued by the music-themed romance. The writing style isn’t really my thing, and the characters’ voices feel more suited to a younger audience. Still, it’s a quick read, with a lively and chaotic energy that gives it its own kind of charm.
