Conversations after a burial was pretty strong. More variation in characterisation here, maybe just because it's a bigger cast. They play off each other very well and the drama is subtle but engaging. The ending might work better in performance, it kind of free-wheels. Same with the humour - lots of irony that may come off better balanced on stage.

Art is as strong as ever, and The Unexpected Man was oddly sweet. People speak strangely but it flows nicely and works very well for the mood.

This is a very depressing read. I have seen Art on the stage 3 times so knew it would be a worthwhile collection. I have finished reading the first two but I will need to be in very positive mood to start the next one.

This is a collection of plays that I have to read for my college English class. If I was not in this class, I would not read this at all. Of the two productions I have read, they are just not my taste. They are the definition of pretentious art. The two works I have read look at the idea of art/literature and the opinions that come with it, and the consequence or reward of those opinions.
All in all, I am not a fan.

So far, I am not a big fan of these plays. “Art” is to pretentious for my taste.
